Ferdinand is convinced by (someone Madelynne sends or is working with) that the Frenchman is going to kill him, so he kills the prince and is in turn killed by Cassidy. Isa is warned that something is going to go down, but Scott didn’t have enough information to give her so it happened anyway. Or happened sooner than expected. Or something. Come up with another person who is helping, and allow Isa to diablerize to lower generation.

Etienne, AKA The Frenchman, has been in Detroit since there has been a Detroit to be in. He was a hunter/trapper,
a statesman, and a ghoul to a French Noble Ventrue named Ferdinand. Etienne was sent to the new world to carve out
and hold a place for his sire, who fore saw the downfall of the aristocracy, and did so with cunning and ruthlessness.
Earning him a place of hatred amongst the natives, some of which were Garou, led to an ambush and his near death. If
Ferdinand had not been hunting with him, and thus able to embrace him, he would have died
in the forests that were to become his city. His salvation was not without a price though, as it came nearly too late,
and has left the Frenchman with some permanent reminders of the uneasy truce that exists between the Kindred of Detroit
and the Garou of Windsor.

Raquel Le Blanc was the useless youngest bastard daughter of a useless bastard French Baron whom lived on Ferdinand's land. When the revolution came to their doorstep, her father begged Ferdinand to save her, and so he did. Embracing her on the spot and killing him in front of her. Once in Detroit, he planned to dispose of her, but the Frenchman (her kindred Brother) saw a better use. He educated her for many years and slowly moved her up the Kindred ranks, until she was sitting firmly in the Primogen seat. And totally under the Frenchman's sway, as she developed several less than acceptable tastes, which the Prince supplied her with for her loyalty. Raquel disappeared when Jac Nelson made his play for the Primogen seat.

Lord Giles Godfrey is the last in a long line of male servants, butlers, and mans men. His humble demeanor is fooling to
most who meet him, as they believe him dumb or truly lower than they. Giles is the Seneschal of the city, a position that
keeps him very busy, and at odds with several members of the Conclave.

Primogen - Jac Nelson is the Prince's Childe. Where that position may make some spoilt or soft, it is not so with Jac. He is very hard, ruthless when he must, and always looking out for a way to improve his status. Or his bank roll. Through his childer, he controls a piece of the greater portion of all Kindred, and many mortal, businesses. Knowing that Raquel was the prince’s lackey, he took steps to remove her from the Primogen seat and took it over for himself.
