"Starting from nothing
Got nothing to lose"

Tracy Chapman – Fast Car
Tina awoke late one night on a rainy street in Detroit with Petor Andrews standing over her. Madelynne Walker found them moments later and took them in. Because she woke with claws on her left hand and seems to fit in well with Madelynne’s pack, Tina believed that she was Gangrel. She wears several necklaces that hold things she cannot explain; a cross with a Celtic design, a disk with Russian writing on it, a man’s high school ring, a wedding set, and a funny looking triangle.

While Tina cannot remember much about her past, she does know that Petor is her ghoul and she has a tendency to be a little overprotective of him. She’s not sure if this is because he is her ghoul, or because she failed at protecting someone in the past. Given the arsenal she’s carrying, Tina knows she was running from someone, and since Chaos had told Petor they’d be safe in Detroit, logic suggests they were not safe where ever Tina is from.

Tina’s past will not seem to let her rest. Several individuals from Salem came to Detroit looking for her, and Tina was hardly in a position to tell the prince no when he insisted she take care of it. She arranged a meeting with the Salem crew at the Sanctuary, a Kindred bar where she knew everyone would be safe.

How can she trust these strangers when they obviously don’t trust her? Things are more confusing for her now than ever, especially since she participated in a ritual that partially restored her memory. While she now knows that she is Christina Kline, but she doesn’t feel like her. Jason may be her husband, and Brenda her sister, but with family like that, who needs enemies?

Since they left town, she has been trying to find her place in life. She is working with several other pack members to form a security consulting firm. Her ghouls have found work until the business picks up, and she has moved into an apartment not too far from Madelynne’s pub.

Tina would like to rebuild the relationships that she lost with her memory, but that is not as easy as it sounds. Her new ties with the pack tend to interfere, as does the tendency Christina’s family has of pretending that Tina does not exist. She has broken off contact with Jason, and is working on building a life with Scott.

Unfortunately, the Tremere will not leave her alone. After many battles, both verbal and physical, Tina was forced to make a bargain with the countess. She would reside in the Tremere chantry for six months, relearning what it is like to be Tremere. At the end of that time, she will be free to choose where and how she lives her unlife.
