Henry Barnes was born the youngest child of six to a working class English family. He is the youngest Indo-European Studies/Department of Classics professor ever at UCLA and started Magika Heira as a way of sharing knowledge and providing a safe place for young mages and sorcerers. He has procured space in the basement of Dodd Hall, where the philosophy, Classics and Art History departments reside. Henry has a highly developed talent that allows him to feel magick within a person, whether it has manifested itself yet or not. He found Scott during a class he was teaching during Scott's freshman year. Henry offered Scott a job over that summer and they started talking about magick. It was during that summer when Henry also met Natasha, Pete and Carmen, all in the same Intro to the Classics class. Henry’s resonance is the smell of old books. |

Emma Wright is studying geology and design in the hopes of becoming a jewelry designer. She loves clocks. She is originally from New York City where she grew up in her grandfather's jewelry store. Her mother was a sorcerer who was killed when Emma was very young and she was raised by her grandparents, who were both sorcerers as well. Emma’s specialty is Psychoportation, and her resonance is the sound of a clock ticking. |

Chris Cowen is studying to be a mechanical engineer. He was adopted and when his abilities manifested early in his life he had to hide them from his family. Since coming to UCLA and finding the Coven he finally has a real sense of family where he can share everything about himself with them. He is dating Emma. Chris’ specialty is shapeshifting, and his resonance is the feeling of a lazy Sunday morning. His preferred shape is that of a golden retriever. |

Natasha Willis is a senior in the business department at UCLA. She had the unfortunate luck of being born merely a sorcerer to a prominent mage family in New Orleans. She wasn't cast out, but she wasn't the favorite either and doesn't speak to her family much now. Her abilities focus on Mind Shields and Psychokinesis and her resonance is the scent of magnolias. |

Jason’s is Janice Wu’s brother. Despite the fact that his parents are Sorcerers and his sister is a Mage, Jason has very little power. The only path he has been able to learn is Pyrokinesis, but he does it very well. He is studying to be Judiciary translator and his resonance is a feeling of warmth. |

To her knowledge, she is the only one in her family to have the gift of magic. She is a Virtual Adept, and her resonance is the smell of a boy’s locker room. |

Colin Barnes is Henry's nephew from an older brother. Being a freshman, he is the newest member of Magika Heira, but he shows great promise in the arts. He is fascinated by vampires and wants to know what's real and what isn't. He is a literature major and the expert in the recent paranormal teen fiction explosion. Colin is an Order of Hermes Mage, and his resonance manifests as the smell of rain. |

Janice's parents came from Vietnam when the war was looming and had the twins late in life. They own an apothecary shop and have a vast knowledge of herbs. They are both sorcerers of meager power. Janice and her brother are the fashionistas of the group. When they go out the twins have to make sure that they pass the muster. She is a fashion designer major. Janice is a Euthanatos and her resonance is the feeling of a tide ebb and flow. |

Pete Adams is on the Jujitsu team and has a chance at competing in the next Olympic Games. He was an orphan who grew up in the system and he had no idea he would one day awaken. Henry found him behind Dodd Hall fighting with a wererat and chased the creature away and helped him get into college for summer classes and then into the group when it was formed. Pete is a member of the Akashic Brotherhood and his resonance is stillness. |

Barb Nelson has especially powerful magick. She is Verbena, and the healer of the group. She is in the nursing program at UCLA. She's originally from Oregon and her parents are both mages as are her two older sisters. She comes from a long line of mages. Barb's resonance is the smell of cotton candy. |

Stan Franklin is a Psychology major at UCLA in his Sophomore year. He plans to become a life skill coach. Stan used to be a rock climber but fell and suffered a spinal injury that left him in a wheelchair. As a Dreamspeaker he is the spiritual guide of the group and reminds them to never neglect the spirits. His resonance is a feeling of calm. |
