Once upon a time the Brujah of Nashville were a peaceful clan. They considered themselves family, and concentrated mostly on business and each other. The Tremere changed that when they dominated one of the Brujah ghouls into betraying them, then tortured and killed several of the Brujah, both Kindred and Kine. In the attack Wyatt Hamilton lost his mind, then his life. After his embrace, he set about running the city through the Daughters of Cacophony. Wyatt once held the prince and primogen in a blood bond, but in 1997 the Prince and Wyatt were killed. The remaining Brujah warred with the Tremere at every opportunity, but the arrival of Tristan d'Castilla changed all that. He restored the old primogen and declared there would be peace in the city. Jax and her family are more than willing to live in peace, but they will not let the Tremere have the last laugh.

Primogen - Jax Alexander was born into a wealthy family in London over 200 years ago. She rebelled against the restrictions placed on women, and brought herself to the attention of Leo Alexander, her sire. She was his ghoul for many years, but after her embrace she left him to find some independence for herself. She has traveled the world and owned many businesses over the years from brothels to bars. She was the Brujah Primogen of Nashville for nearly 30 years when the interference of the Tremere drove her and her bloodline from the city. Running from their assassins, she somehow managed to keep most of her family together. Once Tristan d'Castilla took over Nashville, she was able to return home and begin rebuilding Alexander's, a bar that had gone to hell since she'd left town, and open Crimen Prosapia, an exclusive underground nightclub that caters to sex and gambling.

Lee Whitaker is a Native American who was embraced by Jax Alexander in West before it was tamed. He travelled with her for many years until the family settled in Nashville. He remained in the city when Wyatt Hamilton took over in the 1980s, keeping tabs on things for his sire.

Wyatt Hamilton found the Brujah in Nashville merely by accident. He was hired on as the bartender and joined the activities in the back room with enthusiasm. He was eventually ghouled by Lee Whitaker, and became romantically involved with Leilah Stein. Because of the free and lose morals of the Brujah at Alexanders, Wyatt unintentionally fathered a child, Zoe Kingsly, who was later found and brought into the clan as a ghoul.
Over time he began to realize that Anna Montgomery was being controlled by Ben Carter, one of the Tremere. Ben captured Wyatt, Leilah and Nathan, torturing them for days, bringing them to the brink of death. Jax found them and embraced them, but it was too late to save Wyatt’s mind. He brought down the ceiling of the caves they’d been held in, separating the Brujah into two parties. In his insanity, Wyatt took over the city, and ruled it with an iron fist. It wasn’t until 1997 that he was taken out and peace returned to the city.

Ray Kennedy was ghouled by Jax Alexander for many, many years. He was embraced for his faithful service and has devoted his life to his Brujah family. Ray was among those separated from the main group of Brujah after the Tremere attack in 1985.

Nathan Montgomery grew up in Brazil, the oldest of a middle class family that was very close. His family was killed in a vampire war when he was very young. Jax took him in, letting him work in her until she felt he was old enough to ghoul. Nathan was content as her ghoul, moving around the world with her, working at the businesses she owned. In the 1970s he met Anna, and knew he couldn't let her go. He talked Jax into bringing Anna into the family, and he married her.
Nathan believed that Anna had died during the Tremere attack that nearly killed him, and forced his embrace, along with that of Wyatt Hamilton. The family fled Nashville and eventually learned that Anna was alive. Believing she had betrayed him for Ben, Nathan was prepared to capture her and bring her home when she walked into Alexander's. He vowed to keep her and the rest of the family safe from the Tremere, but he was killed by hunters who had been led to believe he murdered several humans.

Toya Packard was one of Jax's first ghouls. She ran away from her family when she was 17 hoping to find something more than the arranged marriage her father had made for her. She met Jax within days, and together with Ray they left England to explore the world. When the Tremere attacked, Toya was among those separated from the main group. Ray took her and Billy in as his own and embraced her after the family was reunited in Nashville. Toya has a degree in business/accounting, and helps run the family businesses.

Jim Nelson was born in Nashville, and ran the streets when he was a teenager. He had a gambling problem and loved to fight, which drew the attention of Lee Whitaker, who took the boy under his wing and eventually embraced him.

After her disappearance and assumed death, he became obsessed in finding out what happened to her. Recently he has turned his attention to Joan Smith, a Ventrue who frequents Alexander’s back room.

Trisha Brown was a member of the elite in Nashville, until she accidentally killed her sister. Her parents through her out of the house and she was forced to make her way as best she could. She and Jim Nelson had a very hot affair until they both decided it wasn’t working out. He suggested that Sylvia Yearan embrace her and Trisha joined the Brujah family.

Billy Williams grew up in a poor family in Houston. His mother died when he was very young, and his father was abusive. He left home when he was 15 and worked his way across the country. He arrived in Nashville in the summer of 1960, and almost immediately got a job tending bar at Alexander's. He realized rather quickly that Jax and some of the others were vampires, so Jim ghouled him to protect the Masquerade. Billy was among those separated from the main group of Brujah after the Tremere attack in 1985. Billy manages several of the family's holdings in Nashville.

Leilah Stein joined the family in the 1970s when Alexander's was the place to be. She fell in love with Wyatt Hamilton, and was brought in as Jax's ghoul. While a prisoner of the Tremere, she was tortured and raped repeatedly. After Wyatt died and they escaped, Nathan was the only one she would allow near her for many years. She tends bar at Alexander's and Crimen Prosopia. She became Ray's ghoul when Nathan met Final Death. Leilah’s twin sister is Harley Stein, a Mage.

Chantel Thomas grew up in England raised with her sister by family friends after their parents died. At a party for her college graduation she met Jax and the others at a club in the West End. Intrigued by their lifestyle, she spent several months getting to know them. She was pleased when she was asked to join the family.

Carl Spencer was from a large family in Mississippi. He was raised with strong family values that were shattered after his father's death when he found out the man he'd called dad really wasn't. He left home, traveling to Miami, where he joined Jax's family in 1996. He'd been dating Chantel for some time when an Assamite attack against Jax left him injured. Jax fed him, and he has been with the family ever since.

Zoe Kingsley grew up very sheltered. She was not allowed to date, and was very limited on friends that she could hang out with, especially after they moved to Nashville when she was 14. Her mom spoke often of people she had admired at Alexander's during the 1970s, but never gave many details. Zoe did well in school, and was a cheerleader, she graduated at the top of her class. Shortly before graduation, her mother died, leaving her totally alone. Afraid of losing everything, Zoe kept to herself. Anna found Zoe at the reopening of Alexander's, and quickly realized that Zoe was Wyatt Hamilton's love child. Fearing that Zoe's naiveté would endanger her, the family took her in.

Ryan Everett grew up in Cleveland. His mother and younger sister died in a car accident while he was in college, and he hasn't really talked to his dad since. Ryan graduated high school 2 years early, and got his masters at a prestigious school (although he’s reluctant to talk about it, not boastful at all) then started working at financial institution in Nashville. About the time he grew bored with his life, he met the Brujah of Nashville. They needed to strengthen their numbers against a possible Tremere attack, so they ghouled him.

Josh Bryant went to school with Ryan and graduated at the top of his class before settling down in Nashville. Josh was targeted for recruitment as a Brujah ghoul in part because he owned his own business, and in part because he was very attractive.
