The Ventrue lost power in the 50s when Beth became enraged with them, killing nearly every clan member she could find. Three survived but Brad Van Loon left town to protect his own life. He was called back when Lilith died in 1997. The clan appears to by lying low for now, but they have many things going on beneath the watchful eye of the PTB's.

Brad Van Loon fled the city when the Ventrue lost power in the 1950s. He returned to the city when his sire was killed in 1997. As Elvira decreed all clans could raise their numbers to five, he embraced several childer. It is unknown whether he holds a grudge against the prince for the death of his sire.

Kirk Goodson, though embraced by Brad Van Loon, swore his loyalty to Elvira when she took over as prince of Salem. Unfortunately, his loyalty became known to his sire, and in late 2002, Brad arranged an accident for his child and Kirk was beheaded by hunters.

Demarco Talluto was once the cicisbeo of a Countess of Castiglione in the early 19th century. After her death, he went to work for one of the more prestigious brothels in Milan, eventually buying out the owner and expanding the business. He came to the attention of his sire when she was traveling to Rome on business. After his embrace, Demarco traveled the whole of Europe, and eventually ended up in the New World. He lived in Seattle for a while but fled the city when the Sabbat took control. He came to Salem when he heard there was an opening for one of his clan.

Nick Kennedy was born and raised in New York, the son of a prominent publisher. He had always had issues with his sexuality, but tried to play 'straight' for his father's sake. When he met Rafe Brown, Nick knew he couldn't play games any longer. Their love affair was a brief one, cut short when Nick's father fired Rafe. Nick followed Rafe to Salem, but it was too late, Rafe had already been ghouled by Brenda Brown. Nick returned to New York a broken man. Michael Moorecock found him, and offered him hope. Nick accepted Michaels offer, and his blood, and moved to Salem to run the new Ventrue Carnival there.

Silvano Mazzanti is first generation American. He learned how to speak English in kindergarten and quickly realized the benefits involved in speaking other languages. Silvano got a job at a five star hotel in Seattle where he met Demarco Talluto. When Seattle fell to the Sabbat and the Anarchs, Silvano was seriously injured, but in time he recovered. He now works at Demarco’s personal assistant, running most of their businesses.
