A native of the city, Katharina "Kat" Steiner left Seattle in the mid 1950s and traveled the country from one end to the other and back. She returned just before the Sabbat took control of the city and has vowed to remain until they have been removed. Notorious for blackmail, bribery, favoritism and being thrown out of more cities than most have visited. Some claim she has the luck of the devil, she just says shes good at what she does.

Professor Burns is sometimes seen at the shop debating literature with Lukas.
