Diego was a Mexican Freedom Fighter in life. He was quite proficient in guerilla tactics, and was quite a problem with the local law by 1949. During a Sabbat bid for takeover, Diego was embraced. He proved himself worthy of creation rites almost immediately.

In 1954 during a particularly bloody battle, most of his and another Sabbat pack were destroyed. The survivors joined forces for protection, and he became close with Rabbit, one of Mary Summerfield’s personalities.
