Ventrue - Nez Smith was once a member of the Jesters, a 60s music group that started with a television show. In the late 60s he met Melody Proctor, who embraced him after a night of drugs and sex. Nez never looked back. He uses his contacts in the Kindred world to further his interests in the Music industry.
Nez is desperately trying to help his former bandmate Micky George but fears he will be killed if he steps foot in Salem.

He was never known by his true name again, although he did eventually reveal it to his childe Christina Graves. The Spaniard is a cold man, angry and bitter. He has the power to take over the city, but not the motivation. He left town briefly to visit an old friend and returned to find his childe had been killed. His anger consumes him, and he has vowed revenge against the Executioner of the city, Brenda Moorecock.
