The alternate reality laid out in Alt.Salem and Alt.Nashville is losely based on the world of Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter by Laurell K. Hamilton. Ms. Hamilton has built an awesome world and I couldn't resisted putting some of my characters into it. I have used some White Wolf terms such as clans to make running in the verse a bit easier to run.
